Review of Buffalo River State Park Campground in Glendon, Minnesota
July 2015 – 1 Night
It is a smaller campground, with a really nice clean atmosphere with most of the campsites covered with shade trees. A field borders one side of the campground and woods on the other.
Campsites are spaced nicely, so you are not on top of your neighbor.
Campsite quality was quite nice. All the RV sites had gravel back-in pads with a picnic table and campfire ring.
There are quite a few hiking trails. We did not do any hiking ourselves, but I believe some of the trails double as cross country ski trails in the winter.
Do not know of any boating opportunities.
Do not know of any fishing opportunities.
I did not see a playground, but there is a swimming hole over in the day use area for kids.
It was a nice little park and I would stop here again on our way through. If you are within a couple hours of here and are looking for a nice weekend getaway with the family, this would be a nice place to go.
